Oh, Cafe? Workplace? or should we call it a Workbar? Well,
Social is one Urban hangout with a blend of cafe & workplace
that has created a kick amongst the Delhiites. Situated in Hauz Khas
Village and next to Delhi Art Gallery, you will find people of different
coterie at Social. Having said that, it is known for its ridiculously tasty
Cocktails and Music.
Decor is quite raw. Metal pipes on chairs. Electric switch
boards taped on walls. And bare walls. It adds quite an element. Service
was bit in a looser side. Although I liked one thing specifically that the
staff wasn't being too sophisticated and speaking in hindi. It's a great deal
to me. People there are to enjoy and not to pretend so sophistication can take
a back seat.
Laal Maas Pao - This dish has the softest buns you will ever taste – well buttered and not crumbling into Chunks. The laal maas was exemplary - The mutton was ohh-so-succulent and chewy and the gravy was spicy and thick !
Chicken Tikka Tacos- tacos are given a touch of Indian flair with a chicken tikka masala filling topped with cool yogurt sauce and served in a flatbread – A little bit Indian, a little bit Mexican , a lot a bit delicious !
Grilled Chicken Peri Peri Sizzler - From juicy Peri Peri grills, to mouthwatering sides like rice, exotic
Veggies and some fries - A fiery treat to taste buds.
White Sauce Pasta - Wonderfully flavoured with spices and herbs, the pasta is a real delight to devour.
Layer Cake - It’s basically a haven for those who do like their desserts sweet, and this is a good one for anyone with a sweet tooth.
The drinks are pretty neat. I love their Loaded Goti Soda ! The toxic LIIT is pretty heavy for faint hearten and order with caution!

Awesome Ambience....sometimes i wonder at the creativity of investing in a low key way and making it look "hat ke" and in a manner that distinguishes itself from a number of competitors in the hauz khas village which results in high returns for Hauz Khas Social.Creative thinking ...be it the shady bulbs or the "chatyapa" or menu of "khaana" and "peena".A little high on budget but a place to hang out with friends and chill out and after a good time spent , you dont feel the pain of paying those bucks(or atleast the pain diminishes after a good time spent there). Great water body background if ur dining at the terrace. It has the best terrace view in the entire hauz khas village....again creativity of making low key beds look cool enough for u to reach out to ur pockets and pay those cheques.
